The Kronke family farm and ranch

Over 20 years ago, I began milling logs with a Wood-Mizer portable mill. I needed to do something with the extra lumber I was producing and built a shed to sell.  Fast forward to today, and Oregon TimberWerks has evolved to building cabins, sheds, playhouses, and more.  We start with locally grown timber and produce final products that have been shipped world wide.

Oregon TimberWerks is located on the Kronke Family Farm & Ranch in Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley, southwest of Eugene Oregon, in the small community of Crow.

My parents, Trutz and Elke Kronke, immigrated from Germany in the 1960’s.  Through very hard work and the freedoms available in the United States, they were fortunate to purchase this farm.  The Kronke Family Farm & Ranch has been active with many endeavors since 1976.  Over the years, we have raised cattle, a milk cow, chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, pigs, and many other critters.  There were meals produced by my mom, Elke, where every ingredient came from the farm, including the butter.  She had a beautiful garden.  We currently grow hazelnuts, Christmas trees, and timber.  Elke’s Country Gifts has produced roasted and flavored hazelnuts, pickled garlic, asparagus, beans, mushrooms, raspberry vinegars and many unique products.  Elke is now retired.

Our products are created or raised with the help of three generations who keep this family farm going.  Operating a small family farm is not easy but it does provide a nice lifestyle and gives us the opportunity to provide products and services that we are very proud of.

Please give us an opportunity and join our growing list of satisfied customers.  It would be our pleasure to serve you!
